Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate machines to produce product according to print specifications
• Analyze blueprints to determine proper dimensions and configurations
• Select proper cutting tools and machine speed and feed rates according to part specifications and machine capabilities
• Perform setups, teardowns and material loading
• Perform quality checks on in-process parts before and after machine operations to ensure parts meet specifications
• Perform basic maintenance of equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized work area

Education / Experience:
• 1 year experience in machining
• Ability to read & interpret blueprints

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
• Lead/direct team of Maintenance Technicians
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair a wide variety of heavy-duty commercial equipment used in industrial manufacturing/machining industry
• Enforce company policies and procedures while complying with legal codes and regulations
• Plans, organizes and oversees all aspects of preventive maintenance program
• Delegate daily equipment breakdowns and scheduled repairs to maintenance personnel
• Provide weekly maintenance schedules for all maintenance personnel based on current workload
• Conduct performance evaluations on Maintenance Technicians
• Issue disciplinary actions in conjunction with Human Resources per company policies
• Provide technical and non-technical on the job training for maintenance personnel
• Conduct regular communication meetings with staff to review past, current and future projects
• Work with State and Local health and utility depts to assure annual compliances are met
• Assist with inspections and adjustments on all machine alignments to strict geometric tolerances
• Responsible for fleet maintenance to include all off road and on road mobile equipment PM’s, repair and service history
• Implementing and enforcing Lockout Tagout procedures, training and annual audits as per company policy
• Scheduling of safety inspections for all equipment and facility
• Purchase replacement parts and maintain spare parts inventory
• Solicit bids for contracted repair work and parts supplies
• Schedule onsite service work with outside contractors when necessary
Education / Experience:
• High school diploma (preferred)
• 5-7 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing/machine shop environment (preferred)
• 3-5 years supervisory experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams and schematics
• Must work overtime as required
• Must be self-motivated, organized and a team oriented
• Ability to perform general building maintenance on plumbing, lighting, HVAC, mason work, etc.
